MVHS Boosters
MVHS Boosters is a non-profit parent organization that fund raises, supports, promotes and advocates on behalf of Mountain View High School Athletics.
Boosters Goal
To continually support all MVHS athletes, teams and coaches to allow them to compete and excel at the highest level.
Boosters Role
MVHS Boosters main role is to raise funds and identify / complete capital upgrades for MV Athletics. Over the past few years Boosters has expanded its role to include the ongoing promotion of MV Athletics as well as becoming an active advocate for Athletics at the district level.
What have we accomplished
In the past three years Boosters has initiated and completed numerous projects at MV. We have engaged the administration and district on many of the projects and have had great success working together. Here are a few: Rebuilding and upgrading of the training room, replacement of the baseball scoreboard, upgrading / replacement of the Gym sound system and the approval for the installation of permanent lights in the MV and Los Altos stadiums. Other upgrades include: Gymnastics equipment, Cheer Mats, new team chairs, scorers table and door mats in the gym, new vehicles for the trainer and athletic department, sun shades, computer / software for aquatics, new wrestling mat, new goals and rain shades for soccer, tennis and lacrosse. Is there more? Yes and more to come!
Should I Join?
YES! If you are related to a MV Student athlete you need to join Boosters and support Booster fundraisers. Your membership and support is essential to the ongoing upgrades and improvement of MV Athletics. With your support we can continue to ensure that your student athlete has the best opportunity to excel in whichever athletic activity they chose at Mountain View High School. Go Spartans!
